Preaching Sports Knowledge for an entire lifetime! Older and wiser-we now find Barry Donovan (Barry D.) and Tommy Tallarino (Tommy T.), living together in Las Vegas doing their Video-Podcast ‘SWEATY SPORTS TALK!’ preparing for an early retirement and already packin’ AARP cards…the Men chase Early Bird Specials, Shuffleboard Supremacy and Pickleball Prominence on a daily basis!
Spry Men with Decades of Trips around the Sun, you would never think these guys are “older”- wink-wink. Barry D. and Tommy T. are still participating in all legal activities involving exertion. A daily dose of Hot Yoga classes and a Gluten-free Diet does wonders! A little Vino and EVO doesn’t hurt either!
Currently, the guys are happily married to the only two women who would put up with their nonsense (Vegas Entertainers-Peaches & Cream.) Sports is a close second-love if not a tie for first!

They crashed into the World of Sports two decades ago!
The Sport Jerks set the world of Sports TV on a different path back in the late 90’s. Barry D. and Tommy T…Young Bucks, Childhood Buddies, Regular Guys and Sports Savants traveled the countryside in Barry’s Grandma’s Winnebago.
Slipping into stadiums and arenas around the country was their forte! These self-proclaimed Sports Fan Journalists interviewed players, coaches, peripheral characters and die-hard fans.
They made Sports on TV irreverent, ballsy and fun. They were Reality before reality or alternative facts and fake news were a thing.
Their Unique Interviewing Style has been often Imitated, but never Duplicated!
The Sport Jerks debuted on Comedy Central, in a partnership with NBA Entertainment (helmed then by current Commish Adam Silver) and Danny DeVito’s Jersey Films.

Straight Outta Rome! (not THAT Rome, from the “Rome,” that WAS built in a day! ...“Rome, NY”.) Land of MLB Commish Rob Manfred, NBA Legendary Player & Coach Pat Riley…and all those Copper Cooking Pots you use to have hanging in your Kitchen-Revere Copper & Brass!
Their first encounter was on an Upstate NY YMCA basketball court at 12 years old. Tommy & Barry always respected each others game because they both played D!
The Guys are true Sports/Pop Culture Fans and like nearly every fan in the world, they were never a 1st round draft choice for anything. Not even their wives drafted them first.
They never received a scouting report raving about their potential or their upside or their wingspan or their vertical jump or the MPH on their fastball or their 40-yard dash times.
They never won a Lead Role in the School Play. They were never voted, “Best Looking” or “Most likely to Succeed.”
Upon graduation from Rome Free Academy (it’s a Public School) they moved to Hollywood to pursue their Dreams!
They bounced from job to job! In fact, Barry had 13 jobs in one year (possibly a World Record.) Finally, they got their “Big Break” and started to work in the Entertainment Biz for all the Big Shots of Hollywood!
And… as they say, “The Rest is Sports History.”
